Toshiba Satellite P755-S5270 15.6-Inch LED Laptop (Black) I have purchased a total of 4 Toshiba laptops during the last 6 years. Every single one continues to be an awesome purchase for the $ & the reliability of them have been fantastic.
This specific laptop was purchased for my pal, so I am relaying several information from him. The features for this laptop are fantastic for the ~$800 level. Toshiba Qosmio X775-Q7380 I purchased this notebook from amazon & got it on the afternoon I was supposed in order to & everything seemed good, I plugged in the ability cord & booted it up, still no problems. The problem started after i took it off the charge after since it was fully incurred, I noticed that this juice was draining inside minutes & in under ten minutes, it was shutting along on it’ s own because this battery was dead, I plugged it back in & it was fine, but it was incurred within 5 minutes so i took it off this charge again & so it dies again immediately. I thought maybe it will be because the battery must be reset so I allow it to go sit there for quite a while & I took the power supply out & then put it returning & allowed it to chill for quite a while & after checking to see if it might boot I plugged this in again & allowed it to charge by using it off, still same results. I called customer attention & they are shipping me a better, I am hoping this problem doesn’ t persist because this specs seem great onto it & while it’ s plugged in, it seems to become a pretty good machine, I hope this performs… I will update after i get the replacement, the plastic casing within this does seem a touch cheap & the paint scheme will be kinda lame, they would have been superior off with just a set black or go using real aluminum casing… the casing & mouse pad seem kinda cheap though the internals are what caught my eye for the price point but currently being that it’ s not an economical machine I was expecting a little more quality. Toshiba Qosmio X775-3DV80 Black Friday 2011 I am happy together with my purchase. I have no real complaints relating to this laptop, the only problem I have had is with the 3D viewing to fall out of synch after a few momemts of viewing with your 3D glasses, which tech support informs me will be resolved that has a BIOS update which they may walk me through. The computer is fast & light but it seems that they can compromised the lay out & build quality for fat. The two major draw backs are that we don’ t want to make use of the track pad b/c the particular click buttons actualy hurt my piano playing fingers, & there are loud way too.
If you are on the budget, get it, it’ s the best laptop I can find under $800 but take care it might come bite you in the butt either through cramping fingers or the particular keyboard falling apart.

L755-S5271 Black Friday I bought this laptop to replace a Lenovo that died on me suddenly. I had a awfully low budget for a replacement machine and this one perceived to work the bill. i am an internet developer who uses this machine to try to to programming and graphic design work at home. I most likely solely use it 8-10 hours/week, however i use it it hard, typically running an internet browser, Adobe Flash professional, FlashDevelop, an IM consumer, Dreamweaver, and a couple of alternative programs at once. I actually have used this laptop for about a week… Here are my first impressions:

The laptop incorporates a nice giant screen and runs moderately quick with it’s twin core i3 processor. Most of the programs I run do not benefit of the quad core threading anyway, thus there was no ought to buy an i5 and i saved some cash this manner. This comes with little bloatware and also the Windows7 OS is sweet. This machine is lighter than my previous laptop, despite the fact that it’s a larger screen and a full keyboard. Some flex in the frame, however not so much that it feels flimsy.

Here are some of the items i do not like concerning it:
- screen resolution maxes out at 1388×768. I want that I may create the resolution a little higher.
- i do not like the invisible trackpad. you’ll be able to feel it along with your fingers, however it is hard to ascertain. this can be a little annoying and i would rather have an enormous black rectangle trackpad.
