Samsung LN37D550 Review First the positives:
A Super TV fitted, which leaves almost no wish unfulfilled! Internet via WLAN on board (without additional stick!), 3D video by Samsung intern every time available, sharp picture, good sound (as in flat TvŽs just possible), etc.
3D clips of things to see but only with glasses, but I think as a treat

But now for the downside:
Channels sort a true catastrophe! If you have these times in the order brought to their own needs is equivalent to the whole of existence only as long until only one channel in the network (whether cable or satellite) will change. Then a new scan is required and everything starts again from scratch (sort channels has taken me about 3 hours).
The channel list on a USB stick and write back goes on TV while serving snacks, but you can not sort the channels on your PC then, as it is a program entsprechnedes (Channel – editor for D – Series TVŽs) not currently exist. SAMSUNG leaves me here now for four weeks hanging in the air!
They have promised it to me 5 times already, they always gave me the old channel editor for the obsolete C – series of course is not Samsung PN64D550 Review

Samsung UN32D4000 Review – Decided after much back and forth LED / plasma for the GW 20th
- Brilliant picture (especially HD)
- Comprehensive features and options
- Reduced power consumption
- Acquisition price Ok
- Sound is very good for everyday TV

Now I look forward every day from this unit. The image is really excellent, the sound is better than expected. The factory settings I do not have
changed, in my view this is not necessary.

The installation and set up the device was very simple, the operation is hardly a mystery. Panasonic TC-P55ST30 Review

42PT350 This is new, about 24-hours in, and if my impression changes before I send it back, I’ll update this.

Picture Quality: Of the 9 various LCD screens we have, including the PC’s and spanning all cost/quality ranges, this is the worst of the batch.

A. Flashlighting and edge banding: if my Dell 2209WA is a 10, this is barely a 1. Bright spots at all 4 corners, brightest at the upper left. Edge banding left and right, brighter on the left.

I’m not that picky for televisions, but these are so bright that they’re distracting. Say you’re watching a Blu-Ray at 16:9, not zooming, and you have those narrow black bands top-and-bottom? Your eyes are constantly jumping to that white spot up there.

B. Edge resolution: I mean only that the image gets fuzzy at the inch or inch-and-a-half edge of the screen, not that objects in the “sweet” spot are fuzzy. This is worse in SD broadcasts, but is still there with HD broadcasts and with Blu-Ray. Again, worse at the top and left.

C. Color gamut: drops off significantly when viewing from above or below the horizontal plane of the screen. Not a good thing in a bedroom TV because, I don;t know about you guys, but that’s where I move around the most when watching TV.

I have calibrated it as much as possible using Disney’s WOW. I haven’t updated the firmware, yet, but that’s going to have to have massive effect to make this screen approach acceptable. Toshiba 46WX800U

47LV5500 I purchased an identical TV, a Vizio forty two inch 120 HZ with ten80p concerning 10 days before the arrival of my LG from Amazon. The Vizio took a long time to begin up, had an array of audio issues and was a trifle a lot of confusing when switching inputs. while the LG and Vizio had equally sensible photos, my LG is way better on several alternative fronts. The TV starts up terribly quickly, the input interface is really nice, all the inputs are grayed out and then after you plug a cord in it becomes colored so once you hit input you can see specifically that inputs are plugged into a source: the cable box, DVD, player, X-Box etc. i favor the quantity settings, it turns up / down noticeable however not too much or too very little with each number and is de facto a pleasure to use and watch. I highly recommend this TV, that I got for around 575.00, for folk who wish to form a giant upgrade from their previous 75 lb behemoth tube TV’s (mine was a bear to lug to the basement). it is a beautiful TV for a good price and as i do not do something too fancy with my viewing / audio outputs, it had been a perfect giant maximize from my recent Toshiba, that refuses to die by the approach after many years of use. do not hesitate to shop for this sucker, sports look good, movies look sensible, and my X-Box with the HDMI cable is a hoot! tc-p55gt30 the net programs or internet apps you want to examine. In my opinion, the remote management isn’t as good as it may be, but for a unit at this worth range, it is ok. This model has the standard prime quality Vizio video and audio which is documented within the industry; smart image quality (clarity/color), & smart acoustics from it’s speakers. This Vizio provides an excellent HDTV experience. it’s also built solidly and incorporates a neat contemporary look. when I compared the value of other 32″ HDTVs, this model had the most effective dollar worth additionally to the internet app features that are included. | we tend to bought the Vizio E322VL 80-days ago at C–tco and loved it, for 79 days. Last night the image starting showing a one-second blank screen. Today, the screen went blank and the ever-present glowing emblem flashed between orange (off) and white (on). we have a tendency to tried the Windows-trick, power off (even unplugging it), then reconnecting it, to no avail. a while later, we tend to tried it again, and it came back on, but it’s going back to the shop anyway. | Initial setup was … painful. The remote is de facto unhealthy, you have to purpose directly at the lower-left corner of the TV and press every button firmly (even then, it still manages to miss a few). The UI is incredibly slow and the onscreen keyboard (eg. for wifi login) may be a nightmare.

I did not buy this TV for the net apps however i thought i might offer them a attempt anyways. I did not try Amazon VoD or Netflix but the remainder of the apps appear gimmicky and pointless. additionally if you hook it up to the internet, be ready for it to automatically update and reboot itself at least once or twice (pretty positive this can be what was going on, that, or it crashed). If your set suddenly turns off and therefore the Vizio emblem starts flashing, this means it most likely crashed. wait and it should eventually allow you to turn it back on …

I bought this to use with my computer and Xbox. Hooked both up via HDMI (1080p on both). once turning the backlight ALL the method down and turning off most of the options the image was pretty smart. additionally I definitely suggest turning off “Truvolume”. this is purported to catch up on loud commercials when watching TV however I noticed that it makes dialog in games terribly troublesome to listen to (the voices fluctuate in volume).

TV arrived in time and every one together. it was comparatively straightforward to place it together and set it up. but there was a difficulty with the stand to permit the TV to face on the counter. despite several changes there was continuously an inclination to 1 facet and the TV wasn’t horizontal.

amazon could not replace the part however LG said they might send a replacement piece. Still awaiting cargo for the piece.

the picture clarity is nice however everything sounds like a home video? dont understand if it becuase of the TV or if all HD shows seem to be it as a result of the resolution?
