Acer AS5742Z 4685 I recently purchased a HP laptop which I had to come back because it was a Lemon. I exchanged it for this Acer. The Acer is an excellent computer for what I do with adequate speed. If your yearning for a powerful pc for a coffee value this can be the one!
Monitor is great, three gig is sufficient and that i believe it to be a superb purchase. price! The screen is huge and the picture is great. conjointly love the keyboard with the numbers on the aspect. the sole thing i’m disappointed in is that is lists Microsoft Works as an installed program and the floor model had MS Works however mine doesn’t have it. to this point I’ve had this laptop nearly a month now and thus far it’s exceeded my expectations. i am very happy that I bought this product. the value is pretty fair despite that I did notice the same product a bit bit cheaper at tiger direct.| Works to expectations,with the exception of volume.Of course you can use extension speakers,that would be alittle inconenvient.The clarity is excellent and also the speed is great.
I would suggest this product for everday use. this is a superb computer! Acer is not one in all the additional common brands but it’s indeed building a reputation and a following for itself. The screen resolution is nice, very clear and bright. it has unbelievable speed and capability to handle multiple jobs promptly. I personally use it for college and tiny business activities. it’s a lot of space for storing that very comes in handy with the business files and software. Slightly on the heavier aspect, between 7-10 lbs., but thats to be expected with a 17.3″ laptop. i have not watched any movies on it however, but internet videos show crystal clear. If I had any complaints i would say the sound quality from the speakers could be a tad tough to listen to. The sound is clear however it’s not loud enough in my opinion. other than that I highly suggest this laptop, especially if you want to induce all the benefits of storage space, speed and capability on a budget! | Got one for my daughter for christmas she loves it and uses it everyday, my son got one for his birthday and he is thrilled to bits doesn’t use that abundant but he skipes his sister within the next area and every one her freinds, and he checks the weather everyday. Its nice for young children. I bought this laptop for varsity, personal, and skilled use. i take advantage of it for a spread of tasks from gaming to watching movies to surfing to doing programmed learning and office applications. This one will handle it all. stunning screen resolution, WIDE 17″+ screen, comparatively lightweight. it’s three USB ports and might has plenty of memory for many people. It comes with MS workplace 2010. You get the Word and Excel packages permanently for complimentary, but with ads inserted, otherwise you have the option to induce the entire or part of the Suite on their web site. No Works program. Win 7, which is pretty darn nice. many games and game links through Acer. you’ll play and download your music and videos, use webcam, on the subject of something on this one. i used to be a bit leary of this complete as i am not too conversant in it, except for the price and options I feel I got a very great deal. i really like my laptop | Purchased Acer Aspire fresh at the top of November, 2010. From the get-go, I knew something was wrong with it. Always, when typing the word “you” the curser would jump randomly to a different place on the page. Ok, to a small degree quirk I might trot out, therefore i thought. two weeks ago, the computer utterly stop working with no instruction from me to try to to therefore and would not restart. it absolutely was adore it died. Contacted customer support, they explained how to remove the battery, unplug the power from it and then plug it back in whereas holding the start up button. It worked. inside the past 2 weeks it’s done the exact same issue off and on concerning 10 more times, until these days. i’m a photographer and rely upon my laptop for my livelyhood. Today, whereas editing pictures to send off for printing, it shut off on me 5 times! Acer will not replace this piece of junk laptop, they’ll only repair it. So, basically, i’ll be out this computer for a minimum of 3-4 weeks. i’ll certainly lose work and customers over this waste of cash, piece of junk electronics that I purchased. This has created me a really sad Acer customer and i told them i might unfold the word concerning their faulty product everywhere I may think about on the internet. They didn’t care, just said it wasn’t their policy. So, here i’m telling everyone i grasp and even folks i do not know, do not PURCHASE AN ACER computer. they are garbage and not well worth the almost $600 I spent. i must currently pay to ship it back to them for repair and if it happens once more, i will be able to got to pay once more to ship it back again and again. Not interested in creating a client happy, they need a protocol to follow and a happy client is not on that list. | i am very disappointed with this product! I didn’t even have it 2 months and the display did not work. I called Acer for help and that they tried to assist me fix it however failed to work. They then proceeded to tell me that I required to send it to the repair center, ok….well that’s fine till i’m told I actually have to pay for the shipping to get it fastened. this can be simply not right since I actually have only used it thrice in less then two months and solely did the set ups for it and zip else. it had been a defect on their part but still did not even pay for the shipping prices, this is often ridiculous. i will never purchase an Acer again plus recommend it }
