sharp lc40d78un black friday deals I recently picked up this TV [Sharp AQUOS LC40D78UN] from a fantastic Seller here on Amazon, and could not be happier. I had been pulling my hair out over the previous couple of months searching for a TV to play my XBOX360 and PS3 on, watching reviews it looks the new 240hz 3D tvs are terrible for gaming due to input lag [nothing to try to to with net lag] do a trifle research and you’ll see what I mean. Anyways, once trying and searching I discovered some reviews and check results showing this TV to possess terribly low lag, a superb image quality, and a blazing refresh rate. This TV delivers on all levels. I borrowed some settings from an AV forum and tweaked them a bit till they give the impression of being nice for my room and setup.
Some reviewers complain regarding the sound quality off of the TV speakers, but I may care less regarding this, as I even have everything routed through an awesome SONY receiver.
Overall this can be a good TV. It replaced a Vizio 32 plasma that was not fitted to significant gaming due to image retention [gets to be annoying quickly]. it’s lots of HDMI inputs for both my consoles and HD Cable. I’ve watched a couple blu ray movies and that they look crystal clear even in quick motion scenes. i am very happy with black levels, no complaints in any respect. Since this set is a full backlit and not an edgelit like most of the new TVs being created currently I even have noticed no banding, ghosting, or halo effects on something I’ve watched nonetheless.
